Ashiatsu Baresole massage is a wonderful technique to offer to all those who enjoy deeper pressure during the massage and brings many benefits to the receiver and therapist. Although it may look easy, it does require certain level of fitness from the therapist to perform it well. Just like it is not suitable for every client it may not be suitable for every therapist so please read and ask me any questions before you sign up to the training.
Even though weight is not a restriction for undertaking the course, you must ensure that the equipment you will be using can hold your and client weight. Also you should be pretty comfortable getting on and off he massage table and have flexibility in your hips to apply the stokes in a fluid motion and have fairly good upper body strength (be able to pull your body up in case you have to remove your weight instantly). Before you sign up please consider that you will be practicing on each other and may receive more than two hours of massage a day as well as perform. Therefore contraindications for the treatment will apply to you as well. Please let me know of anything I need to be aware in the form provided.
